Positive Rent Reporting with CreditRentBoost and EBRHA - Align with the requirements of state law a.b. 2747

As a landlord, you understand the importance of responsible and timely rent payments. At Credit Rent Boost, we provide a rent reporting service designed to meet the needs of both landlords and tenants, while ensuring full compliance with California’s new law, AB 2747. This legislation requires landlords to offer tenants the option to have their rent payments reported to credit bureaus—aiming to improve financial stability for renters. By partnering with Credit Rent Boost, you’ll meet these compliance requirements seamlessly and economically.

We’re excited to announce our agreement with the East Bay Rental Housing Association (EBRHA) ! As a valued member, you can now act in accordance with the state law while at the same time provide your tenants with the opportunity to have their rent payments reported to major credit bureaus such as TransUnion, Equifax, and possibly Experian. This allows your tenants to build credit history and improve their credit scores while incentivizing them to make timely rent payments.

Why Choose Credit Rent Boost?

Our service provides unmatched benefits, including the ability to report up to the last 24 months of rent payments, giving tenants an immediate credit history boost. Best of all, there is no additional cost for landlords enrolling 10 or more tenants. Tenants also gain a credit age attribute based on their lease start date, which can have a significant positive impact on their credit scores. This
gives your tenants an incentive to make rent payments on time.
Studies show that longer credit histories result in stronger credit profiles, and your partnership with Credit Rent Boost enables you to offer this advantage to your tenants.

By taking proactive steps to meet the requirements of A.B. 2747, you’re not only staying compliant but also fostering financial responsibility and empowerment for your tenants.

We understand that landlords have different priorities when it comes to billing tenants. That’s why we offer flexible options to fit your needs. For landlords aiming to enhance goodwill with existing tenants, we provide free reporting for the first year, until the lease renews, or until a new tenant moves in. Alternatively, if you prefer to simplify your process and start tenant billing immediately, we can accommodate that too. The choice is yours—our plans are designed to adapt to what works best for you.

Our streamlined process handles rent reporting for all tenants on your lease agreements, making compliance with AB 2747 effortless.

By utilizing Credit Rent Boost, landlords have the opportunity to recover the service costs through tenant participation fees.
